Chairman’s Chat November 2021

Exciting Times for Businesses

It’s time to dust off your business cards and get back to building relationships at in-person networking events over a real cup of coffee!

Re-opening your business presents opportunities for innovation, improvement and reflection.

You don’t have to do things the way you did them before. Being more organised and strategic about how you run your business, manage your teams and connect with other business contacts is a good way to embrace the year ahead.

Our Events Calendar is up-to-date with the latest networking events that can help your business connect with other businesses and grow. Book your tickets now.

Welcome to our new golf program sponsor

We’re very pleased to welcome Castle Hill BMW as our new golf program sponsor of 2021-2022.

The SHBC Golf Days are an important part of our networking program for the year. These activities are popular and attract members and guests that often do not attend other chamber networking events. The Golf Days provide meaningful and lengthy opportunities for members and guests to build connection over a relaxed 9 to 18 holes of golf and a meal afterward.

We are also focused on expanding our Golf Day programs to provide businesses with diverse business networking opportunities in 2021-22.

Our next golf event is on November 19 – the annual Bring A Mate Chamber Challenge Golf Day. Book your tickets now.

Building and Construction and Trades Industry Cluster Program

The world has changed – consumer, supplier and staff expectations have changed too. And that’s not always a bad thing.

Building and construction is one industry that is being shaken up and improved. At our upcoming CEO Lunch for trades, building and construction businesses, we will be discussing the future of innovation and regulation in the building sector.

NSW Building Commissioner David Chandler OAM and McCrindle Research will be attending the event, hosted by panel Thynk Group, Exempla Homes and Sami Design Architects.

The event, which was moved from earlier in the year, is sold out. But if you missed out on tickets, don’t worry. In 2022, we’ll be launching our Building and Construction and Trades Industry Cluster Program with a range of activities and events to help businesses in the region connect to each other and grow their networks. Register your interest in the program via email to [email protected]
