We’re kick-starting this quarter with our Annual Chairman’s Lunch event.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for the business community to participate in a Q&A panel with key influencers and decision makers. You’ll also hear about what’s next for northwest Sydney and how this will impact our businesses and provide opportunities to grow.
There will be over 200 businesses in the room, which provides huge networking opportunities, as well as demonstrating to our state’s leaders that businesses in northwest Sydney have a voice.

Our Chamber Leadership team has been working hard for the first few months of this year, making changes and improvements to our existing programs and preparing for the roll out of new opportunities for members this quarter.
This month, we go live with our new website, which will have lots of features and benefits for you to enjoy.
Thinking about becoming a member?
If you are not a member of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber, take the opportunity this month to book one of our information sessions. These are run via Zoom to make it easy for you to attend, learn about the Chamber, and ask questions.
If you were previously a member and have been thinking about rejoining, lots has changed since you were last with us – so come and experience the Chamber in 2021.
What else is happening?
The first monthly Chairman’s Coffee Catchup in March was a great event with a really good mix of members – why not join us for the next one on April 19? You can find more information about this networking opportunity HERE.
We had to postpone our first Quarterly Golf Day due to bad weather, so there’s still time to book. The event will now be held on April 23, and 47 members and guests have already signed up. Come and join us! Book yourself in today.
Member working groups
We want more of our members to get involved in the life of the Chamber. You can do this by participating in working groups that help us brainstorm and expand the activities and impact of the Chamber.
We have two new working groups starting in April that we would like to invite you to volunteer for now:
- 1.Advocacy Strategy Working Group – help us develop our Chamber advocacy strategy for 2021-22.
- 2.Celebrating Women in Business Program working group – help us expand the wonderful CWIB program beyond the biannual lunches this year.

There will be lots of different working groups created and rolled out over the year, and we will open these to members to participate in.
I encourage you to join us, or if you are already a member, make a plan to fully Activate Your Membership and be a part of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber this year.
