Chamber members past and present are invited to book tickets to the upcoming Gala Dinner being held in celebration of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber’s
25th Anniversary. The Gatsby themed event is being held at the Castle Hill RSL on 21 July.
You don’t have to dress to theme, but who could resist the opportunity to get all dolled up and kick up their heels in twenties style? Step back in time to an era of flirtatious flappers, gangsters and sly grog, cheeky decadence and great hats!
The event will include a delicious three course dinner and drinks, casino tables and activities, live music from 80s band Total Recall and some great old-fashioned entertainment from Missy and Finhead. Don your fedora and dance the night away.
The dress code is ‘Black Tie and Bling’ if you’re a little conservative, or go all out with Gatsby style if you plan to party with your gangster friends until the wee hours. Whichever way you decide to go, don’t forget to bring your rebellious attitude and your dancing shoes for an evening that promises to be great fun.
The dinner is being held in honour of the Chamber’s 25 years of operation. The Hills Chamber of Commerce was officially incorporated in May 1992, even though it’s true beginnings were back in the 1980s, when Kellyville and Baulkham Hills Chambers merged.
Current Chamber Chairman Anthony Moss says he hopes to see many former members there on the night, including past Chamber chairpersons and board members who’ve contributed their time and effort to the Chamber at some time in the past quarter of a century. There are likely to be many old acquaintances renewed on the night!
Bookings are open until 18 July, but Chamber members and their guests can take advantage of an early bird ticket price of $135 for bookings made before 21 June. Tickets can be booked individually, or for tables of 10 if you want to bring your whole crooked gang along to party.
To book your ticket or table, visit the events page on the Chamber website, click on the Gala Dinner event and register. It’ll be the bees knees!
